I have no idea why he noticed it. He was from Brazil so I guess he wasn’t as used to it as we are but he was in the country for the first time and while we talked on the way to the hotel from the airport, he just continually looked out the window. He seemed to be very involved in what was going on outside. He finally turned to me and said, “there are logos everywherein America, no?” I was a bit taken aback by his comment but recovering I just said, “yea, I guess so. Why, is that a problem?” He flashed this big smile and said, “no senor, it’s not a problem at all. It’s wonderful. It’s the reason I’m here, you know.”
