I have started the process of becoming an actuary. I am now studying for my bachelors degree in actuarial science, and so far I am enjoying my studies. I know that in order to become an actuarial fellow and get the best actuarial consulting jobs I need to pass all of the actuarial exams. I am wondering how long it usually takes people to finish all of the exams. Among those that do actually finish them all, how many years does it take them, on average? Could I expect to complete my exams in 5 years if I work hard, or would it take longer?

457 Visa

I am Sandra. I will be leaving for Australia soon. A firm for Australia has employed me as a skilled worker and will be sponsoring my journey too. I am sure it will prove to be a great experience. I will now be applying for the 457 visa which would allow me to work out there. Right now I am busy polishing my communication skills as I will need them during the visa procedures. I am also mastering my written English and grammar. Both these factors are very important in getting the visa. So now my preparations are on in full swing..bye for now!

Years of school, years of residency, and no job. Sigh. Now I have to dig around looking for surgey jobs.
I’m beginning to wonder if I’m going to be able to get a job in my specialty. The truth is that Bariatric Surgeon Jobs aren’t easy to get nowadays, no matter how good your qualifications are.
I suppose any surgery job will be good enough in the end.

After watching the numerous forensics shows on TV like CSI, I’ve been thinking seriously about a forensic nurse job. It seems very exciting and the pay is supposedly very, very good. I don’t get very squeamish and I’m a tremendously compassionate person. I know that all nurses are supposed to have those qualities, but I’ve been told I have them in spades.
