I am not sure if I believe this but there a program  that claims you can learn spanish by only knowing about 138 words to carry on a conversation in Spanish. Well, some marketers do make bold claims and when you read the details you find out the headline was only there to pull you in. Then when they get your attention, they go low-key and tell you the truth. However, you should not discount these claims all the time. You should always keep an open mind just in case they are presenting something you could use. Having an open mind may mean getting a salary increase, a promotion, or even a new job. I will have to check out the ad further and hope that I can get some benefit for the time spent reading their advertisement.

Learn The Russian Alphabet With The Help Of Sound

January 1, 2008 on 6:41 pm | By admin | In Reference & Education :: Language

The Russian Alphabet is also known as the Cyrillic Alphabet. My advice for you if you want to learn to speak Russian is to learn the Russian alphabet first. This will give you a great grounding to build on as you move forward and start to improve.

With the advent of the Internet there are now more and more sites that offer free lessons. One such site can be found at langintro.com/rintro/index.htm. This site has simple design but don't be fooled, it is jam packed with great tutorial and the best part is that there are plenty of sound files so you can also hear the proper Russian pronunication. Give it a try and see how you get on.
