You also need to consider what type of lights you want on your Christmas tree prelit.  Do you want clear, or colored lights, standard lights, classic lights, LED lights, or a fiber optic tree?  LED lights, while they cost a little bit more initially, will eventually save you money on your electricity bill.  They do not get hot like the standard lights on prelit christmas trees , they are cool to the touch, fireproof, and shatterproof.    They have a unique shape that gives off a shimmering effect.  LED lights would be a beautiful addition to your christmas holiday season decor indoor and outdoors too.
